SAMRC INTERNS x 4
Duration: 6 Month Contract
The SAMRC is extending an invitation to graduates to apply and participate in an internship program at the Biomedical Research and Innovation Platform and Genomics Unit. The units are in need of 4 interns who are suitably qualified and experienced in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The interns will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to various projects, including the training of students.
Learning Outcomes:
Facilitation of training protocols
Teaching support
Technical support in laboratories
Research report writing
Organization and management of data
Core Requirements:
BSc or Honours degree in microbiology or biochemistry
Understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing
Experienced in laboratory techniques including tissue culture, PCR, and western blots
Advantageous:
Certification in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
A salary of R 16 047 per month will be allocated to the intern.
