Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the HD press floor to the stowage area.

We have to get serious for a bit. We need:

Matric
3 years’ experience in the wool store
Forklift license (valid)
Must be able to work in a team
Must take responsibility for own work output
Good interpersonal skills
Writing and arithmetic skills
Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Must be able to perform under pressure and follow instructions
Attention to detail
KEY FUNCTIONS:

Removal of bales from HD to the stowage.
Relocate all torn/ripped bales to the repress holding area.
Must be able to work under pressure when floor is at full capacity.
Record all incomplete reference numbers and report to the line manager.
Perform daily hyster checks.
Report any new noises to line manager.
Always maintain a safe speed while ensuring productivity on the Shipping/HD floor
All lawful work instructions must be perform as instructed by a superior.
