20 Training Opportunities For Unemployed Youth Graduate: The Greater Giyani Local Municipality
The Greater Giyani Local Municipality has 20 training opportunities for unemployed youth graduate to participate in Youth Graduate Programme (YED) on Climate Change Ambassadors and Waste Campaigners concepts
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant should be youth (below the age of 35 years) Grade 12
Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Environmental Science/Management/Education” or any relevant Environmental related qualifications Proof of residence”
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Climate Change Ambassadors
Climate Change Focus: Ambassadors will advocate for economic growth and transformation with the sustainable use of environmental Natural Resources and responding to climate change. Focus on mitigation to reduce emissions and long-term adaptation. Ensure climate change adaptation and disaster risk management integration in order to build the resilience of affected communities and to develop effective systems and policies.
Waste Campaigners
Littering and illegal dumping Focus: Waste Campaigners will be involved in the environmental education and awareness campaigns raising awareness on the impact of waste on their health, well-being and the environment.
