What is the job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Manager to join our team and lead the Project Management Office. You will be responsible for the development process from inception of the project to opening the doors to serve our first customer. Passion for successful project management and seamless integration with all stakeholders will enable you to execute at exceptional standards and manage multiple projects concurrently.

What will be expected of you?

Project Leadership: Lead the internal Project Management Team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery. Work closely with external consultants and professionals to ensure alignment with project requirements.

Budget and Resource Management: Collaborate closely with internal Quantity Surveyor. Providing oversight to ensure financial targets are met without compromising on quality. Allocate resources effectively, both internally and externally, to optimize project outcomes.

Timeline Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, closely monitoring milestones and deadlines. Implement effective strategies to mitigate project risks and delays.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external consultants, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all projects meet brand standards and operational requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise.

Handover to Operational Teams: Collaborate with operational project teams to facilitate a smooth transition from construction to restaurant operation.

Are you qualified?

Bachelor’s degree in Construction management, Architecture, Town Planning, Engineering or a related field.

Registered Project Manager at a recognized institution.

Did you do this before?

Previous experience in QSR or Retail development.

Minimum 10 years of experience in leading a team.

Familiar with sustainable and green building practices.

Do you have what it takes?

Proven experience in project management within the QSR or Retail industry, with a focus on development.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Proficiency in project management tools and software
