St Alban’s College, one of South Africa’s leading independent boys’ high schools, seeks to employ a talented and experienced Senior Afrikaans Teacher for a full-time position.

Our school is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Afrikaans Teacher to teach and inspire our students to become effective communicators and critical thinkers. As a Senior Afrikaans Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge our students.

Criteria:

Degree in Afrikaans or a related subject.
Teaching qualification.
SACE registered.
Proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
Experience teaching Afrikaans at a senior level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
The use and integration of technology into the classroom is an essential criterion.
Competence in terms of computer literacy – especially Google docs, sheets, and classroom.
Ability to contribute to the extra-curricular program within the school would be an advantage.
Willingness to become involved in the life of the school.
Be a committed, dynamic educationalist, with an innovative use of technology to enhance learning and have a practical approach to the subject.
IEB Marking experience will be an advantage.
