Purpose of the Job

This role will be supporting the commercial and sourcing team, providing reporting and analysis for the team and building relationships with Procurement across all brands. You’ll need to collaborate closely with various internal departments while working on different projects and requests to create reports which will be used for decision making processes. The successful candidate will play an integral part in delivering insights within the department, which will be used to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of the whole department. This will be done through a range of activities including extracting data from contracts and innovative ways to supply an increasing number of sites and requests.

Ensuring Procurement is future facing and constantly aware of synergy opportunities across the Group· Schedule appointments and meetings including updating diaries, maintaining the project calendar, distributing meeting schedules and packs and ensuring all meeting arrangements are in place (e.g. meeting invites and links shared with relevant stakeholders, meeting rooms booked, access to office arranged, etc.).
Process project related documents (electronic and hard copy) including preparing and creating reports, templates, presentations, memos or agenda’s, follow up on deadlines for document submissions, filing and storing of records and data and maintaining an accurate log of all documents filed and uploaded.
Assist with vendor requests and payments and support with all vendor queries.

Qualifications
Grade 12 certificate.
Degree or Diploma in IT or Commercial administration or related.

Experience
+1 years’ experience in a similar role in a similar office environment.
Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Project and Excel).
Possess a proactive and positive approach to work
Be a confident business partner, capable of influencing others at a range of levels
Experience in a retail or FMCG environment.

Strong administrative skills and the ability to plan, coordinate and execute routine project functions, practices and standard operating procedures to realise business unit goals and objectives.
Communication, presentation and reporting skills with the ability to clearly, accurately and succinctly convey information and data.
Motivated self-starter, with personal drive and energy and strong integrity – Takes accountability for actions and mistakes.
Able to operate independently in familiar areas and plan and communicate deliverables, timelines and responsibilities and ensure on-time delivery.
