Job Description:
Letaba Lab is looking for a professional proficient in Geotechnical Soil Profiling with good administrative and communication skills and gives attention to detail.
Duties:
Client liaison, planning, organising, implementing, and controlling of activities.
Geotechnical investigations and Centreline investigations. Field testing & Sampling.
Experience & Skills required:
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Experience of 2 or more years working in a laboratory.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional listening and analytical skills with the focus on quality.
Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast paced, team environment.
Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Solid time management skills.
Perform tests & sampling and ensure that the documented methods are followed
Capture, process and retrieve test data accurately. Bilingual and no criminal record.
Qualification:
Minimum level of education: Grade 12 /N4 (Matric) with Mathematics.
SAIEG Geotechnical Soil Profiling Course.
Familiar with SANS 633
Advantage: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
