Shift Leader: Hulamin – South Africa

SHIFT LEADER

Hulamin is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Shift Leader to join the Coil Processing department. This position is based in Hulamin Operations Pietermaritzburg.

The core responsibilities of the position include:

Ability to lead and co-ordinate activities including projects.

Good understanding of IMA VM

Ability to manage and motivate people.

Ensuring that safety and quality standards are maintained.

Ensuring that output is maximized through minimal costs. Maintaining acceptable standards of housekeeping

The requirements for the position include:

Matric

A post matric technical qualification would be an added advantage.

Previous work-related experience in a similar manufacturing environment, preferably at supervisory level

An ability to lead and coordinate a multi disciplined team.

High level of interpersonal and communication skills

A result orientated individual

Knowledge of quality and safety standards Preparedness to work shifts.

Preparedness to work overtime when required.

An ability to work under pressure and independently.

The ability to use Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.
