APPRENTICES x 6 – FITTING & TURNING
The abovementioned vacancies exist in Metals Rosslyn The positions reports to the Plant / Technical Trainer.
Key responsibilities include:
Completion of all required theoretical modules for the trade
Undergoing intensive on-the-job training and other related training
Providing support to the production process with adequate levels of availability and reliability
Demonstrating the ability to practically conduct maintenance and installations
Acquiring problems solving and trouble shooting skills Adhering to plant rules and regulations
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Must be in possession of a Matric Certificate, with Maths, Physical Science and English second language with a minimum of 50% passmark.
Minimum NTC 3 engineering, with relevant trade theory as a subject.
A good engineering understanding at a basic level Team orientation, be systematic and well organised
Basic computer literacy
Good interpersonal & communication skills, positive attitude, able to use own initiative, team oriented, systematic and well organized
Ability to work overtime and shifts when required
