University of Cape Town Is Hiring: Driver
The Desmond Tutu HIV Centre (DTHC), based in the Faculty of Health Sciences, is committed to the pursuit of excellence jn research, treatment, training and prevention of HIV and related infections in Southern Africa.
We require a full-time Driver to ensure the secure transportation of goods, staff and patients to and from the required destination as well as assist With general duties.
Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) NQF Level 4
At least 2-5 years’ experience as a driver
Valid Code 8-14 driver’s licence With PDP
Excellent Driving Skills with no traffic violations or offences Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team MS Office proficiency
IATA training
Ability to function in a team and maintain strict client confidentiality
Diligent attention to safety as well as good time management
Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends
Responsibilities include:
Safely transport equipment, staff, and patients to various research sites
Transport samples to and from various Clinics or Clinical Research Sites
Assist with collection of supplies or equipment for Division
Maintenance of Vehicle
Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
The annual remuneration package for this full-time position is between R138 579 – R241 986. Total cost of Employment dependent on skills and experience.
