Coffee Operator Required: Nestlé – Estcourt, KwaZulu Natal

Location: Estcourt, KwaZulu Natal

Qualification: Matric, N2 qualification in engineering will be advantageous

Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in coffee and beverage processing

 Position Summary

To operate the evaporators, extraction, and clarifier. Ensure that the evaporators, extraction, and clarifiers are always in good condition.

A day in the life of Senior Coffee Operator:

Startup, shut down, operating and CIP procedures for roasting, evaporation, extractions, and clarifier

Perform stock taking of silo levels and product in bags on the floor for beans, thick extract, and Glucose

Perform scale calibration checks and reports to fitter or instrument if help required and capable to restore to basics conditions

Perform blending of different bean grades/class and mixing ratios on Evaporator

Material consumptions on SAP

Perform plant inspection and ensure all equipment are assembled correctly

Perform flood/leak test for evaporator 

What will make you successful? 

Matric

N2 qualification in engineering will be advantageous

2-3 years’ experience in coffee and beverage processing

Basic Computer Literate
