VACANT POSITION: STOREMAN

NEDAN Oils and Proteins requires the service of suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to appoint in the above-mentioned vacant position. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Responsible for collecting, as well as the physical handling of stock, inventory control and assisting with the application of proper storekeeping methods.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or Equivalent.

Valid driver’s license (must be confident driving in a traffic and long distance).

Computer Literacy.

Good communication skills both written and verbal.

1 -2 years related experience in a factory environment.

Able to work overtime and shifts.

Reliable and positive. Safety cautious. Duties:

Receiving stock, ensuring that delivery notes correspond with the order and stock received.

Packing of stock in a correct and safe manner.

Issuing of stock, ensuring that it is correct and recorded on requisition.

Assisting with Stock take and ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.

Control and issuing of specialised tools.

Control and issuing of safety equipment.

Collection of orders from suppliers.

Effective and expedient collections using the most efficient routes, ensuring proper time keeping and adhering to all road rules and regulations.

General maintenance of the vehicle (i.e ., fill fuel tank of vehicle, maintain the correct tyre pressure, keeping the vehicle clean and tidy). Perform any other reasonable tasks.
