Business Overview
This is a busy, fast paced operation which offers many challenges and opportunities for the right person. This position is based at Boksburg, Gauteng.
Job Purpose:
To minimize stock losses and to maintain Inventory Record accuracy, by verifying stock keeping Unit [SU] label information with the physical characteristics of the product and to accurately record the number of pallets per load received, whilst maintaining quality.

When carrying out duties, follow SOP and Safe Working Instructions
Perform administrative tasks in line with SOP
Be actively involved in and support change initiatives

Visual checks of truck and pest control standards
Inspect stock integrity
Ensure correct use of equipment and to timeously report any faults/defects
Report and record any non-conformity with regards to the customer merchandise or unsafe acts
Handle goods with care to minimize damages
Maintain a high level of hygiene in the work area
Timeous completion of tasks
Assist in stock counts
Adhere to the units SHE rules and best practices
Ensure that product safety, quality and integrity is not compromised
Report any persons behaviour that may impact on the safety, quality and integrity of the stored product
Qualifications
1 – 2 Years Experience
Skills/Competencies/Experiences
Team player
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to adapt easily to changing circumstances
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety Regulations.
Logistics or warehousing experience
Product Knowledge
SAP / WMS exposure
Ability and Flexibility to work shifts
Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment
Warehouse & Logistics experience
Ability to work in a pressurized environment
Language
· English – Verbal and Written
