Job Description
The selected candidate will oversee the coordination of all administrative content management aspects related to special and stud auctions, including the creation of pamphlets and catalogues for these events. Their primary role will involve providing professional, efficient, and effective services to uphold and promote a positive image of the organisation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 with at least 3 years’ experience in a Livestock and highly functional administrative environment
Good administrative, technology and numeracy skills
Excellent computer literacy in MS office applications
Good knowledge of project management programmes
Be willing to travel frequently and work after-hours
Must be able to perform under severe pressure
Hardworking, punctuality, attention to detail and good teamwork
Must be fully bilingual (English/Afrikaans) and understand and communicate in Afrikaans to a large extent
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently with internal motivation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure accurate administrative processes
Planning and coordination of auction administration
Managing and coordination of digital marketing such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok
Investigate renewable marketing strategies for auctions
Responsible for the compilation of catalogues and digital catalogues
Compilation and distribution of pamphlets and catalogues for auctions
Gathering of information and documentation required for auctions
Responsible for advertising of auctions
Ensure a positive image of the organisation through professional, effective and efficient client services
Distribution of marketing material to relevant parties on time
Asset register – Responsible for stocktaking and maintenance of asset registers
Maintenance – ensure that equipment and promotional materials are in good condition
Gathering and editing of digital content for Digital Catalogues
Gathering of producer information to ensure accurate record keeping
Compilation of advertising schedules
General administrative duties and finalizing of auctions
Ad hoc responsibilities
