Clerk – Creditors Job Vacancy At Midvaal Local Municipality (Salary R215 736.00 p.a – R241 152.00 p.a)
REQUIREMENTS
-Grade 12. -National Diploma or Studying towards National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage. -Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Valid driver’s licence. -Basic knowledge of applicable to Local Government Legislation (e.g. MSA. MFMA and other as applicable). -Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, proven management skills (including analytical thinking, empowerment, adaptability, leadership, conceptual, presentation, conflict management, Office management/Diary management skills, Strong administrative skills, Writing and typing skills attention to detail and negotiation skills.). -2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in finance.
DUTIES
– Administrative duties: – Capturing of creditors statements. – Capturing sundry payments on system to pay outstanding creditors. – Upkeep of records by maintaining a filing system for future reference and easy retrieval if required. – Ensure effective financial control and smooth operating of section. – Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by management from time to time.
SALARY: R215 736.00 p.a – R241 152.00 p.a ( Level 09 of a Grade 08 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R356 941.92 p.a
