An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Fleet Controller to handle administrative tasks, supervising and controlling driver activities. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.

Minimum Requirements

Must have a diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management/Transport Management or Similar 

Up to 3 years experience in transport industry

Experience in MS office suite ( Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) 

Knowledge of Tracking Systems (Mix-telematics)

Strong Knowledge of Data capturing and other administrative work 

Good Customer Relations

Assertiveness and Reliability

Pro-active and ability to take initiative

Prepared to work shifts 

Duties & Responsibilities

Handling administrative tasks 

Monitoring progress and utilization

Tracking trucks

Sorting out customer problems and assisting drivers with problems

Getting extra orders

Communicating delivery Update to the customers

Daily implementation of planned vehicles and drivers to customer orders.

Supervising and controlling driver activities 

Perform routine maintenance checks on operational equipment as required
