Job Description
Managed People Solutions is looking to hire a Dedicated Griller for a very well-known restaurant based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
Braise and grill meat / fish and vegetables with a high degree of skill.
Assist in maintaining inventory by tracking, labelling, and replacing key ingredients.
Prepare meat / fish and vegetables by slicing, cutting, shredding, and tenderizing them as needed
Communicate with the kitchen manager and waiter staff to ensure the timely delivery of all meals.
Follow all relevant food health and safety guidelines.
Maintain a workstation that is both clean and sanitary.
Maintaining high quality and hygiene standards as per restaurant standards
Manage all preparation and presentation of food.
Ensuring correct portion control are adhered to.
Ensuring the food is delivered timeously and without delay.
Flexible to work overtime when required.
Requirements
Grade 12
Atleast 3 years’ meat | fish grilling experience required
Fish & Meat preparation is ESSENTIAL.
Ability to work under pressure and with diligence
Must be a clean and presentable individual
