Purpose
To produce plates in accordance with specifications for Litho, Screen, Intaglio and Coating sections.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
Adhere to compliance policies, procedures and processes.
Produce and manufacture plates by using different manufacturing techniques and equipment.
Produce plates according to specifications.
Perform process maintenance according to set schedules.
Taking of stock to ensure availability of printing plates.
Report and record measurements and non-conformance.
Adhere to safety standards and quality regulations.
Lead and supervise the team through recruitment, development, training, coaching, mentoring and performance management.
Perform any reasonable task as assigned by team leaders/management.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Matric
TT3 with Printing or Electronic Origination Trade
3-5 years’ experience as a Printer/Platemaker
