Job Advert Summary
The creation of Pick n Pay’s promotional product and price advertisements in the form of leaflets / point of sale / TV / radio. Liaising with Commercial and Fresh departments to ensure execution of promotional outputs.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/ Degree in Marketing/Retail
2 Years (Retail advertising ) experience essential
Duties & Responsibilities
RMS:
Understand the process of importing and ensure RMS is successfully implemented
Cross check barcodes/images with Silo library
Completing all tasks with continuous changes on RMS at all time
Ensuring the time capture application is utilized appropriately in conjunction with jobs
Marketing Administration:
Collect and analyse competitor leaflets and recommend responses and finding to the marketing team
Ensuring all job information are stored in the relevant job bag and filled away for future reference
Advertising Administration/Execution:
Add important /New Info/Logos/SASSA dates to advertising material
Ensuring the correct theme and details are executed on promotional leaflets
Ensuring competition details that appear on promotional material are correct
BoMM system promotional loading in accordance to SOP’s
Ensure correct information is briefed to DTP & every component that is related to the job is precise and clearly understood
Communication:
Regular meetings with relevant Commercial teams to pprove final promotional material before going to print
Build and Maintain open communication channels and good working relationships,within the cross function teams
Promotion Information:
Ensure all POS briefing and approvals completed timeously
Distribute leaflets to all Commercial depts
Attend promotional sign off meetings and assist in conducting photo shoots for new images
Ensure all promotional lines are delivered to Marketing timeously
Liasing with external services providers:
